So many months ago I picked up a pair of Raspberry Pies (Model B) computers from Element 14 for about $35 USD each.
The plan was to really just play around and see what I could do with a 35 dollar credit card sized computer. Well after a few months of really doing nothing, I finally figured out a few interesting ideas. For those interested, the following are the stats of these machines:
- CPU: 700 MHz
- Memory (RAM): 512 MB (Shared with GPU)
- USB 2.0 Ports: 2
- Video Options: Composite RAC and HDMI
- Audio: 3.5 mm Jack and HDMI
- Network: 10/100 Ethernet
- Power: 700 mA (3.5 W)
- Weight: 45g
- Size: 3.370 Inches by 2.125 Inches
So after a little bit of thinking and consideration I decided to make at least 2 major projects, which I will over time describe what I did in these blogs pages. I’ll post a separate blog post for each project to keep them separate and easier to follow.
